'DWTS' Announces Pairings, EP Denies Pushing Homosexual Agenda

The dancing partners of twelve contestants from "Dancing with the Stars" season 13 have been revealed. As it was rumored, David Arquette is paired with Kym Johnson, who guided last season's winner Hines Ward.

Returning pro dancer Derek Hough will team up with "Hairspray" actress Ricki Lake. Maksim Chmerkovskiy's brother Val also joins the competition this season, assisting George Clooney's ex Elisabetta Canalis.

Mark Ballas, who previously partnered with one of last season's frontrunners Chelsea Kane aka Chelsea Staub, will join forces with reality star Kristin Cavallari. Meanwhile, Chaz Bono is paired with female pro dancer Lacey Schwimmer.

Amid the excitement of "DWTS" new season, the show has been receiving negative reactions from fans for including transgender contestant Chaz. People accused ABC of pushing a homosexual agenda with such casting.

Responding to this backlash, executive producer Conrad Green tells The Hollywood Reporter, "We don't have an agenda of any sorts. I think of the 120 celebrities we've put on the show, we've had, I think now, three transgender or gay contestants. If that's a homosexual agenda, we're not doing very well at it."

"What we try to do is reflect a broad range of the entertainment world in the casting of the show," he goes on explaining, before adding "and we're always trying to find new things that people haven't seen, new types of stories and that's what we've been doing this season."

Chaz himself has previously shared his reason for joining the competition. "At this point I want people to know that transgender people are just like everyone else. We're not people to be afraid of or misunderstood," he told Us Weekly. "I would love to get that message across."

His singer mother Cher has also shown her support by tweeting, "Chaz is being viciously attacked on blogs and message boards about being on DWTS! This is still America right? It took guts to it." She added, "I support him no matter what he chooses to do...It took courage to do DWTS! Thank God Chaz has an unlimited supply."

'Amazing Race' Season 19 Contestants and New Twists Revealed

After bringing back previous contestants last season, the nineteenth cycle of "The Amazing Race" will feature two familiar faces from another reality show. "Survivor: Africa" winner Ethan Zohn and "Survivor: The Amazon" champ Jenna Morasca, who happen to be a real-life couple, will join forces in the travelling competition.

For Zohn, their participation in the show is a celebration after he survived Hodgkin's lymphoma. "What we have been through the past two years has not been the greatest. To be able to come out on top and then go away and travel the world - it's a celebration," he said, but Morasca called it "a stressful celebration."

The upcoming season also has the youngest person to sail around the world among the cast. Zac Sunderland, who was 17 when he set sail alone in 2009, will team up with his father Laurence. Other contestants with physically-tested body include Olympic snowboarders Andy Finch and Tommy Czeschin, as well as retired NFL player Marcus Pollard who will tag along his wife Amani.

Gushing about the cast ensemble, host Phil Keoghan said, "I'm not sure we've ever had a season like this where there are so many proven athletes." He, however, added, "There is also a lot of effort put forth to make athletes' lives easier so they can perform. But on The Amazing Race all those things are not taken care of. They're not going to eat what they want, sleep when they want - and they are doing it with someone else."

The upcoming installment also offers something fresh by featuring new twists, which are a double elimination and the Hazard, a penalty that one team will incur right at the starting line. For the first time ever, the show will be visiting Belgium, Denmark, Malawi and Indonesia.

"The Amazing Race" 19 will premiere Sunday, September 25 at 8/7c onCBS. The winner will bring home $1 million as the prize.

'Walking Dead' Gets Extended Premiere, Second Season to Split in Two

When "The Walking Dead" returns for a second season this fall, fans will get a longer thrilling moment with the walkers. AMC has just announced that the premiere episode, which airs October 16 at 9 P.M., will be 90 minutes long.

The new season also consists of episode twice more than the first season's, but the network decided to split it in two. Six one-hour episodes will follow in the weeks after the premiere, while the second half of the season will only kick off in February 12, 2012.

At the same time, AMC also greenlit two new unscripted series. One of them titled "Secret Stash" is produced by Kevin Smith and set at the "Cop Out" helmer's New Jersey comic book shop, Red Bank. The first season will air alongside the second half of "Walking Dead" in February.

The other new reality show is "JJK Security" which is described as "a Southern Gothic workplace dramedy - a wry and quirky take on the inner workings of our cast as they run their security business." The eight-part season 1 is scheduled to debut in the third quarter next year.

'The Big C' Renewed for Season 3

Showtime has made sure that Cathy Jamison will stay alive at least for another season by ordering the third season of "The Big C". The drama comedy series revolving around Laura Linney's cancer-striken character has received ten episode order for the next chapter.

"We love working together and we're excited to keep exploring where Cathy's going," showrunner Jenny Bicks said of the renewal. "We've all become, as many shows do, we've all become a family, and it's a terrific place to be so we're excited to keep going for as long as Cathy can keep going."

The production for the third season is expected to kick off in early next year for a premiere in the second quarter of 2012. The show, which helped lead actress Linney land a Golden Globe Award, will wrap up its second season on September 26.

'Desperate Housewives' Buries the Secret in Season 8 Clip

The leading ladies of "Desperate Housewives" get their hands dirty burying a dead man in a clip for the season 8 premiere. Gabrielle, Bree, Susan and Lynette are seen in the video digging a grave in the woods before a ringing cell phone interrupts them.

Susan and Lynette hesitate about covering the murder done by Carlos in the season 7 finale, but Gabrielle is against the idea of telling the truth to police which would put her husband at risk of being sent back to jail. It is Bree who later convinces Susan and Lynette that they have to protect their best friend and her hubby.

The eighth and final season of "Desperate Housewives" will premiere on Sunday, September 25 at 9/8c on ABC. Beside the clip, some pictures from first episode titled "Secrets That I Never Want to Know" have also been made available for sneak peek.

Ashton Kutcher Gets Naked on 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' to Get Attention

Ashton Kutcher bares all in front of Ellen DeGeneres. Coming as a guest for the new season premiere of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the husband of Demi Moore appears in his birthday suit after addressing an ad for "Two and a Half Men" which features him and co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones in the state of undressed.

"It's getting a lot of attention," the 33-year-old tells DeGeneres about the "Men" billboard in a segment taped for the September 12 episode of the talk show. "So I just figured I'm going to do everything nude from now on," he adds before dropping his robe.

"I don't know if that's a good idea. Really?" DeGeneres says, sounding unsure about the idea, but Kutcher replies, "Yeah. Whatever I'm doing I'm just going to do it nude. Let's do this." His manhood, however, is kept hidden with computer pixilation.

Before Kutcher's jaw-dropping appearance on "Ellen" is revealed, a new billboard was displayed at the Warner Bros. studios in Burbank on Wednesday, September 7. It was actually similar to the previous "Men" ad which features the three actors of the sitcom, but had Ellen standing naked in between Kutcher and Jones. The billboard was quickly taken down.

New 'Vampire Diaries' Season 3 Promo: Seduction, Temptation, Desctruction

A new promo for "The Vampire Diaries" season 3 has just been unleashed to highlight the temptation, seduction, obsession and destruction that will make the story. Called "Appetites", it shows Damon and Stefan trying to get Elena's attention, but the latter is going a bit rough by pulling her hair.

As a symbol of a terror, Klaus delivers a bloody white cake to Elena while the screen features the line "everyone wants a piece of her". Some new scenes from the upcoming season are also inserted, including the ones which see two bloodied girls sitting on a couch and a girl falling from high above.

The third season of "TVD" will premiere on Thursday, September 15 at 8/7c on The CW. It was recently reported that Stefan's former flame, who will be portrayed by "Pretty Little Liars" alum Claire Holt, will come back in his life while he is battling his latest blood addiction.

'Entourage' Finale Teaser: 'We're Always Be Friends'

HBO is giving away a sneak peek to "Entourage" finale by dropping a teaser. It does not include any new scenes from the upcoming episode, but does feature the characters saying such touching lines as "everything's gonna be alright," "let's hug it out" and "we're always be friends." Towards the end of it, the words "all good things must come to an end" flash on the screen.

The last episode of season 8, which will also be the series' end, will air Sunday, September 11 at 10:30 P.M. on HBO. In it, Vince pulls out all the stops for Sophia after a first date, Ari and Mrs. Ari take a step forward and a step back at therapy, while Drama, Turtle and Vince try to convince Sloan to give Eric another chance.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, creator Doug Ellin and the cast talked about the filming of the last episode. "It was sad though, to actually do that last shot on the show and know that its probably the last time we'll ever be together with cameras rolling," said the Turtle depicter, Jerry Ferrara.

Seeing it positively, Elin said, "I think we wrap up strong, I think people are gonna miss these guys at the end of it." Teasing about the possible "Entourage" movie, Kevin Connolly who plays Eric added, "We didn't want to do like an 'ending' ending. I think we wanted to tee it up to sort of be prepared to hopefully do a movie."

'Glee' Season 3 to Feature Less Lauren Zizes

"Glee" will trim Ashley Fink's role in the upcoming season 3. Sources say her screen time will be drastically reduced following the new season premiere, which means her character Lauren Zizes will appear in less scenes.

A "Glee" spokesperson and Fink's camp have not commented on the report which was first brought to attention by TVLine, but her character's storyline has been revealed. It is said that Lauren [SPOILER ALERT!] abruptly quits New Directions and breaks up with her boyfriend Puck (Mark Salling).

An insider admits the decision to have the big-sized girl cut her ties with the Glee club is strange. "It's odd to go from being the 'It Girl' last season to getting tossed on the backburner," the insider gusher. "But this is Glee. Just when everyone thinks she's out, they may pull her back in."

The third season of "Glee" premieres Tuesday, September 20 at 8/7c on FOX. A new featurette has just been released, giving a look at behind the scenes of the filming as well as featuring the cast talking about what is coming next for their characters.

Lindsay Lohan Comes in Defense of Ali Over Plastic Surgery Rumors

Ali Lohan has been hit with plastic surgery rumors after she was caught on camera with a more angular face and fuller lips recently. Quick to come to the 17-year-old aspiring model's defense was her sister, Lindsay Lohan. In response to the speculation, the older Lohan simply told E! News, "She has never."

Strengthening Lindsay's debunking statement was Ali's modeling agency. Next Model Management director Alexis Borges said, "Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent."

"Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age," Alexis continued on. "We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape."

Dr. Jon Turk, however, begged to differ. Commenting on a recent photo of Ali taken when she was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills last Tuesday, September 6, the prominent New York City plastic surgeon told Us Weekly, "The most striking changes are the nose and chin."

"It appears that she has had a rhinoplasty and chin implant, giving her a narrower and more defined nose as well as a stronger jawline," Jon additionally said. "There is also evidence of cheek augmentation, either with implants or fillers. The brow has been elevated either surgically or with Botox."

Rihanna Brings Edge to Her New Armani Jeans Ad

Rihanna is injecting a dose of her edginess to her ad campaign for Armani Jeans. Channeling a futuristic biker chick persona, the "Only Girl (In the World)" hitmaker dons a midriff-baring sweater and skin-tight black pants while standing in front of a classic car. She also rocked a short, blonde wig to complete the look.

The black-and-white shot is the first work Riri has done in partnership with the fashion house since she replaced Megan Fox as its new face for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans' autumn/winter 2011-2012 campaign. It was taken by photographer Steve Klein, who directed Lady GaGa's music video for "Alejandro", in New York.

Riri was announced as Armani's new face back in July. The celebrity spokesperson for CoverGirl cosmetics follows the footsteps of a number of other celebrities who have represented the brand, including power-couple David Beckham and Victoria Adams, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and tennis-pro Rafael Nadal.

Speaking of her attention-grabbing looks, the "California King Bed" singer has previously opened up to Vogue, "Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, 'What the hell is she wearing?' "

Jennifer Lopez Just Had First Fight With Fellow 'American Idol' Judges

Current "American Idol" judges have just had their most aggresive argument since they worked together last season. Jennifer Lopez revealed during an interview with Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show that recent disagreement with Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler left her in sheer disbelief.

"Me and Randy and Steve got into our first fight. I got really, really upset," the "On the Floor" hitmaker said on Friday, September 2. She went on sharing that the disagreement popped up during an audition after a female contestant, whom she thought "amazing", performed.

While J.Lo was quickly smitten by the contestant, Tyler didn't feel the same way and asked the girl to sing another song. "I was surprised because I was ready to vote. Sometimes the days get kinda long," she added with a laugh.

However, after performing the second song, the "Idol" hopeful still did not get the vote from Tyler and Jackson. "I thought I was being Punk'd," Lopez said when describing how she felt at that time. "[I thought], 'How can we let this girl go?' I was upset. When I believe in something ... I knew this girl deserves the chance."

Despite the fight, Lopez claimed her second round on "American Idol" is "going really great." She later admitted, "The kids, we're being really tough on them."

The new season of "American Idol" will premiere in January 2012.

'True Blood' Season 4 Finale Preview: 'She's Back'

There is only one episode left from "True Blood" season 4 and HBO has dropped the preview that brings a sense of eerie tale. A girl with unseen face wearing a red hood opens the video as words "your past will haunt you" appear on the screen. Meanwhile, Holly who dresses as a fairy tells Sookie that it is "the witches' New Year" during which "the veil between the living and dead is thinnest".

The season finale indeed takes place during Samhain which is Wicca's greatest holy day when spirits of the dead surface in Bon Temps. It brings a new incarnation of Marnie as Tara, with terrified expression, warns Sookie that "she's back." The rising dead, however, will give Sookie valuable allies to combat Marnie.

At another place, Nan says that an order has been issued on Bill and Eric's heads. The two are later seen being chained together in a circle of fire. Lafayette, meanwhile, is possessed by a nasty spirit which imperils his relationship with Jesus.

Also in the episode called "And When I Die" that will air Sunday, September 11, Alcide makes a heartfelt appeal to the woman he loves. Meanwhile, Debbie confronts Sookie and Tara with deadly consequences, and she is seen shooting a shotgun in the preview.

Minka Kelly Jumps Into the Sea Filming 'Charlie's Angels'

Minka Kelly is tapped to play one of sexy "Charlie's Angels", but she is not afraid of looking bad. The "Friday Night Lights" alumna was recently spotted getting drenched as she dived into the sea in Miami, Florida to shoot an action scene with a male co-star for the remake of the 1970s hit TV series.

Donning a black dress, Kelly was seen wrestling with the man, who possibly plays a bad guy, before they jumped into the chilly water below. After the filming was cut, the 31-year-old star still put a smile on her face although she was wet from head to toe. She later kept herself warm under a blue robe.

The new "Charlie's Angels" is set in Miami while the original version had Los Angeles as the backdrop. Kelly takes the role of street racer Eve French, joined by Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor who play smart, athletic ex-cop Kate and con artist Abby respectively.

The action crime series will premiere Thursday, September 22 at 8 P.M. on ABC.

Talks of Russell Armstrong's Suicide Open 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 2

As it was promised, Bravo did not delay the season 2 premiere of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in the wake of Russell Armstrong's death. In fact, he was one of the highlights on the Monday, September 5 episode. The show opened with the cast gathering at Adrienne Maloof's house to talk about the tragedy, but Taylor Armstrong was not involved in this part.

The housewives said they never saw "any sign of this," and Kim Richards assumed that Taylor "wasn't aware of the financial mess [Russell] was in." Being honest, Lisa Vanderpump admitted she never felt connected to Russell. Kyle Richards added, "It was his choice," before claiming, "For me, it's very hard to move forward."

The ladies were worried about Taylor's condition, and they agreed to focus on supporting Taylor. "The things we were told about their marriage was heartbreaking," Adrienne added, while Camille Grammer chimed in, "I think what we were doing was just protecting our friend."

After the four-minute mourning segment, the show offered glimpses of dramatic moments from the first season, before moving on with new scenes. Taylor was featuring shopping with Kyle. The latter was also seen packing up with Mauricio to move from their house, while Camille was trying to simplify her life.

At a dinner party, Lisa's husband Ken Todd made a shocking statement to respond to Taylor's admission that she and Russell were using psychotherapy to work on their marriage. "If I had to go see a therapist to make my marriage better I would feel weak," he said, sending Taylor crying in the bathroom.

Kyle went to comfort Taylor, but Lisa followed them only to insult Taylor by calling her act "manipulative". Ken and Kyle had a heated argument, before Taylor returned to tell Ken, "I'm really fragile right now, I'm going through so much that it's a lot." Staying away from the war of words, Camille said, "For a change I wasn't part of the drama."

First 'Gossip Girl' Season 5 Promo Sees Cougar, Stunt and Party in L.A.

The upper east siders are heading to Los Angeles in the season 5 premiere of "Gossip Girl" after Serena van der Woodsen got a new job there in the last season finale. The first promo released for the new chapter sees Dan Humphrey enjoying the companion of hot babes in the city, and jumping off a building at what looks like a movie set.

Meanwhile, Nate Archibald is smitten with a cougar played by Elizabeth Hurley, and they are ready to "destroy" the master bedroom at a yacht. Serena joins Dan and Nate on a yacht, but Blair Waldorf is seemingly not interested in following her friends to the City of Angels since she describes it "a plastic surgery layover, not somewhere you live."

The fifth season of "Gossip Girl" premieres Monday, September 26 at 8 P.M. on The CW with an episode titled "Yes, Then Zero". Hurley is cast as a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul named Diana Payne who will affect the lives of existing characters, including Gossip Girl herself.

Lifetime Brings 'America's Most Wanted' Back to Life

Lifetime will give "America's Most Wanted" a second chance. The cable channel has picked up the program, which was axed by FOX in May this year, along with its host John Walsh. "For more than two decades John Walsh has been leading the fight against crime and it's an honor to partner with him on bringing back this important show," the network's president and GM Nancy Dubuc said in a statement on Tuesday, September 6.

"I've always believed there was something very special about 'America's Most Wanted' and that there should be a home for it on television," said Walsh, who also serves as an executive producer of the longest-running program of any kind in the history of FOX. He added, "I couldn't be happier to now be able bring it back on Lifetime."

"America's Most Wanted" had run for 23 years when FOX decided to cancel it in mid-2011. At that time, Fox Entertainment topper Kevin Reilly said the series was no longer profitable for the network.

The crime-fighting show will return for its 25th season on Lifetime later this year. The four two-hour quarterly specials, meanwhile, will still air on FOX as planned.

A new batch of posters from "The Vampire Diaries" season 3 have landed online via TVLine. In this new chapter, Stefan continues dealing with his latest blood addiction. Elena refuses to give up on finding him, but she also battles her attraction towards Damon. Meanwhile, Klaus plans to build himself a pack of hybrid werevamps.

Another 'Dexter' Promo Features New Characters and New Footage

New characters on "Dexter" season 6 have been introduced in a fresh promo. In the clip, lead actor Michael C. Hall describes Brother Sam, who is played by Mos Def, as someone whom Dexter initially is pursuing as a potential victim but later turns to be his ally.

There is also Professor Gellar (Edward James Olmos) and his protege Travis (Colin Hanks). Travis does bad things under the name of God, with the guidance of his creepy mentor. "The two of them have this relationship that is very mysterious and dangerous," so Hanks explains the bond between his character and Olmos'.

Bringing positive influence on Dexter's son is Jamie Batista (Aimee Garcia), who is the new nanny and Angel's sister. Mike Anderson (Billy Brown), meanwhile, is a new detective and Chicago native who is described as being intolerant of shenanigans. Judging on the way he treats Deb in the promo, it seems that he is also not that into female working partner.

The sixth season of "Dexter" will premiere Sunday, October 2 at 9 P.M. on Showtime. As it was previously revealed, the title character goes on a spiritual search in this new chapter.

Anne Hathaway Pictured Fighting Thug on 'Dark Knight Rises' L.A. Set

Anne Hathaway has been caught on camera shooting a fighting scene for "The Dark Knight Rises". The actress who plays Selina Kyle a.k.a Catwoman in the DC Comics-adapted superhero movie was spotted on the set in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, September 4.

Donning an all black ensemble, Hathaway was seen fighting a man who plays a bad guy, while a young boy is watching them nearby. She fights the man with one of her hands holding a half eaten apple. After winning the fight, the 28 year-old actress continued the scene with the young boy.

Hathaway has been busy working on the Batman movie. Before going to L.A. for the movie filming, the New York-born actress, who admitted she has to live in Kale and Dust to fit in her Catwoman suit, was filming her scene along with the other actors in Pittsburgh.
